    Co Owner / Fitness Professional / Social Media & Marketing Director

    Taylor is wildly passionate about walking along side her clients in creating enjoyable & sustainable wellness practices.

    She takes a biopsychosocial approach to coaching, helping guide her clients in reimagining their overall wellness starting with the fundamentals and dissolving patterns that no longer serve.

    The goal: leaving you feeling empowered to lead the life you deserve in a more complex and meaningful way.

    You will see how Taylors philosophies trickle in to TWP Fitness’s Social Media & Marketing Materials. The priority being to highlight our core values, celebrate imperfection and real women within our space and online. YOU are always welcome, just as you are.

  • Brock Munro

    Co Owner / Instructor / Numbers Guy

    Brock graduated from Okanagan College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He has worked in sales and finance. Brock has been a perfect fit with TWP Fitness, combining his enthusiasm of business with his passion of fitness. You can usually find Brock in the back-office crunching numbers.

    Ashley does a little of everything at TWP, but her main focus is overseeing all of the amazing staff at TWP! You will see Ashley at the front desk, teaching classes, training one on one clients and running small group training!

    Professional Greeter/ Certified Snoozer & Expert High Fiver

    Hazy is Taylors (almost 2 yr old) Bernedoodle pup who has grown up at TWP surrounded by strong women. He’s a very friendly, no attitude dood, that loves your attention - especially if you have treats. No matter how your day’s been, he’ll greet you with a wagging tail (aka the swifter duster) and cheer you on through your workout.

    You will find Hazy lounging on the turf just hoping that someone wants some ‘between set’ recovery snuggles🐶

  • Laura Evans

    Personal Training Director/Kinesiologist

    Laura leads our personal training team here at TWP! She has an eye for setting clients up with the perfect trainer to suit their individual goals and needs. Each team member has a unique set of skills and knowledge to ensure there is a trainer that is your ideal match!

    Laura has a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and enjoys combining training and rehab for her clients, as well as teaching barbell movements. She competes in Powerlifting and represented team BC in the 2023 Canadian Powerlifting Union National Championships with hopes to make it back in 2024.

    Laura believes that feeling strong is extremely empowering and that everyone should experience it.

    Fitness Professional

    Taya wants to meet you where you’re at and help guide you; to achieve your goals and build a lifestyle and mindset that serves you best, while approaching health with a wide lenses.

    Taya believes that creating a supportive and sustainable relationship with movement and nourishment has the ability to significantly improve one’s wellness and quality of life. Whether that be improved mental health, body image, nutrient intake, athletic performance, energy and strength to keep up with life’s demands or confidence to live and travel independently regardless of age, the list goes on. With her passion for self improvement, self acceptance, longevity, connection, empowerment, educating and living life to the full, Taya is excited to make an impact. She aspires to support you in the best way she knows how by combining her passions, Human Kinetics Diploma, CSEP Certification and nutrition/supplement knowledge, with her vast experience in competitive sports, an ACL reconstruction recovery, time as a post secondary basketball player, and creating an intentional lifestyle that is supportive to her mental, spiritual and physical well being.

    Fitness Professional / Group Fitness Instructor

    Denise has been a certified fitness professional working in the fitness industry for over twenty-five years. While raising a busy family of four active boys in Montreal, she learned how to encourage, support and motivate each one to care for and believe in themselves to accomplish their goals. She brings this same passion to her clients and continues to motivate, educate and inspire others to be active and make healthy lifestyle choices.

  • Trevor Mlait

    Registered Kinesiologist

    Trevor grew up in the Okanagan playing competitive hockey, soccer, and baseball. Where ultimately he pursued baseball and played at the collegiate level in the United States. Along the road, Trevor experienced many setbacks due to injuries which eventually sparked his passion for strength training and rehab.

    Trevor is a registered kinesiologist and received his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia.

    When Trevor is not at work you can find him lifting, running, backpacking, cooking, camping, fishing, snowboarding, hiking, or coaching baseball. He believes that exercise is medicine for nourishing the mind and body when it comes to physical and mental health.

    “I’ve been injured many times, taking one step forward and two steps back. It sucks, it’s emotional and the lessons I’ve learned from overcoming these challenges in life have made me who I am today ”. My goal to my clients and peers is to be kind, passionate and bring out the best in everyone, whether that is in the gym or in life, I am here for you.

  • KyLee Fournier

    Group Fitness Instructor/Fitness Professional

    KyLee is a CFES Certified Group Fitness Coach and Personal Trainer, as well as a GGS-1 Women’s Coaching Specialist. She has been part of the team at TWP since 2018, and in the industry since 2014. KyLee loves to push others (and herself) outside of their comfort zone to be their best & strongest selves. She believes there is a lot of fun to be had in and outside of the gym. When KyLee’s not coaching, you’ll likely still find her at the gym. In-person and online coaching available.

  • Kayshia MacIsaac

    Fitness Professional

    Kayshia is a certified personal trainer, nutrition coach and level 1 reiki practitioner. She is a competitive powerlifter and enjoys functional strength training. Kayshia’s goal is to help women break free from their self-limiting beliefs and live as their highest self through movement, meditation and nutrition. Kayshia believes a healthy mind & body go hand in hand. Outside of the gym Kayshia enjoys yoga and getting in touch with her creative side however she can!

  • Dawn Thalheimer

    Fitness Professional / Nutrition Coach

    As a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, Dawn knows that being healthy isn’t just about what you eat and how much you exercise - it’s a 3-dimensional whole-person, a whole-life experience where physical, mental, and emotional factors all play a very real part. Dawn likes to approach fitness and nutrition from a Deep Health perspective, where why you eat, how you eat, who you are, and how you feel are just as important as what you eat. Her sustainable, practice-based coaching method is designed around individual goals and preferences, not pre-packaged, “one-size-fits-all” meal plans or fad diets.

  • Alanna Redfern

    Pre & Post Natal Fitness Professional/Group Fitness Instructor

    Alanna completed her Kinesiology Degree in 2011 and has worked as a fitness professional with all demographics since then. She has worked a Registered Massage Therapist since 2019 and loves the combination of working with her clients hands on and in the gym focusing on active rehabilitation and preventative care.

    She loves working with the prenatal and post-natal population teaching and advising on how to maintain fitness and wellness throughout pregnancy and as a new parent.

  • Willow Hancox

    Group Fitness Instructor/Fitness Professional

    Willow joined TWP a few years back and fell in love with the energy and atmosphere of the gym and immediately wanted to join the team! Along with pursuing a career in nursing, Willow is a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She loves to challenge people and encourage them to try new things and get out of their comfort zone. In early 2023, Willow completed her CFES certifications, started leading kickboxing small groups, and now takes 1 on 1 kickboxing clients! Her favourite things are anything to do with the outdoors, fitness, and of course food!

  • Nadia Mallo

    Group Fitness Instructor/Fitness Professional

    As a fitness professional, Nadia has a holistic approach to all things fitness and nutrition. She truly believes there’s a specific program for every individual catered to their goals and desires, incorporating mental, physical, emotional health into her practice and programming. In early 2023, Nadia completed her CFES certifications, along with Precision Nutrition Level 1. Nadia has many years of experience in cheerleading, dance and other recreational sports and now enjoys functional strength training, endurance training, kickboxing and more. Find Nadia instructing your favourite group fitness classes, or in the open gym most days of the week!

    Danielle had never been to the gym before she started working at TWP and couldn't imagine going without now! Danielle was so excited to get the chance to be a part of the team as it is such an uplifting environment and everyone has made her feel like family! Danielle was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader her whole life. She loves to travel, spend time with her family and hangout with her two dobermans!

  • Jamie Straker

    Pre and Postnatal Coach

    Jamie has a passion for educating people and motivating them to move their bodies in ways that empower them and help them feel strong throughout pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.

    Jamie is a trained elementary school teacher, but after having two children she saw a need for educating women and creating fitness opportunities where women feel safe and strong in their bodies during these special chapters.

  • Rachel Herzog

    Fitness Professional / Group Fitness Instructor

    Rachel has been teaching at TWP since 2019, She is certified in Nutrition and Personal Training. She believes in living a healthy, happy lifestyle and that balance is key. Rachel loves teaching women that they are stronger than they think and getting out of your comfort zone is a must! If you don’t see Rachel at the gym teaching classes or training clients you can find her searching for the next best trail to walk with her dogs.

    Front Desk Manager

    Makenzie’s 14 years of Administrative experience paired with her love for community and wellness has made her the perfect fit to lead our Front Desk team here @ TWP Fitness.

    Makenzie has known the Kolars and Munro’s since the age of 4.

    Fun Fact: TWP has been established for 42 years in Kelowna with many different ownerships. Makenzie worked at “The Women’s Place” for 3 years with a past owner.

    She has loved experiencing the growth within TWP and is here for any and all of your membership inquiries!

  • Kaitlyn Courtney


    Kaitlyn was a member at TWP for 5 years before joining the team. She was constantly inspired by the members and the staff, and she jumped at the chance to work in such an encouraging environment! During the daytime Kaitlyn works as a Legal Assistant and in the evenings you can find her at TWP either at the front desk or hustling in the weight room.

  • Willow Hancox

    Fitness Professional/Kickboxing Coach

    Willow grew up in Squamish BC and moved to Kelowna 2 years ago in hopes of pursuing her career in Nursing. She fell in love with the energy and atmosphere of the gym and immediately wanted to join the team! If Willow isn't working she is either eating Tacos or working out! Her favourite things are anything to do with the outdoors, fitness, and of course food!

  • Taylor Desrosier


    Taylor was a member for 1 year before she joined the TWP team. She is a student at UBCO where she is studying towards a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She loves being a part of such an amazing team with so many inspiring women. Although she loves all the group fitness classes TWP offers, her favourites are a sweaty HITT or spin class! You can always find Tay at the front desk sipping coffee and greeting you with a big smile!

  • Chiara Anfuso

    Chiara started at TWP a few years ago while she was in town on summer break from school and fell in love with the gym! Since then she has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has now joined the team to be apart of the engaging and enthusiastic atmosphere at TWP. She is a competitive powerlifter and loves to spend all her extra time with the barbell and in the weight room. Her favourite food is sushi and when she is not at the gym or studying, she can be found spending time outside by the water or with family!

  • Bailey Michels

    Bailey recently moved to Kelowna from Kamloops and came across TWP when searching for a women's only gym. She fell in love with the facility and its positive, empowering environment.

    She only trained at TWP for 3 months before starting her front desk position and is planning to attend school in the fall to pursue personal training. When she's not at the gym you can find Bailey at Amora Day Spa where she works as an certified esthetician offering facials, massages, pedicures and more!

  • Madison Preston


    Madison started coming to TWP because of the personal training they offered. She fell in love with the people and atmosphere. Madison is either doing a group fitness class or is handing out keys at the front desk. The Kolar's and the front desk babes are so amazing I couldn't ask for a better job. She loves all of the programs TWP offers such as HIIT in the vineyard, small group, outdoor bootcamp and empower.
