Taylor Kolar
Co Owner+Personal Trainer+Social Media Lead

Taylor is the Head of our Personal Training Department @ TWP, as well as our Social Media chick, taking care of all things pretty and technological. Her goal is to show women of the okanagan all of the fun, interactive and intensely diverse activities that go on @ TWP... And welcome them to join in on the fun!
She extremely passionate about Physical Fitness, Mental Wellness and Nutrition being equals. She believes in creating a balanced and healthy lifestyle that is both sustainable inside AND outside of the gym! Taylor is a smiling face at TWP always up for an open discussion regarding ambitions, challenges and change when it comes to training. She hopes her presence will help to encourage women to step outside of their comfort zones in the safe and fun community that IS TWP!
After her Fitness Theory, Taylor completed her CFES WTI, Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Training certifications.
Taylor primarily teaches Indoor Cycle, HIIT and Small Group Training! She has a knack for increasing your heart rate with engaging intervals to keep you coming back for more!
However, her greatest passion is working one on one with clients, continually fascinated and passionate about movement and how individualized it is for each and everyone of us!

Brock Munro

Brock was born and raised in Kelowna. He grew up with a passion for sports and fitness. And although, sports had briefly taken him away from the city he loved, he eventually found his way back home. Brock graduated from Okanagan College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He has worked in sales and finance. Brock has been a perfect fit with TWP Fitness, combining his enthusiasm of business with his passion of fitness. You can usually find Brock in the back-office crunching numbers.

Ashley Munro
Co Owner + Instructor + Personal Trainer

Ashley does a little of everything at TWP, but her main focus is overseeing all of the amazing staff at TWP! You will see Ashley at the front desk, teaching classes, training one on one clients and running small group training!
Ashley is passionate about movement through strength, power and control of the body. She grew up playing on multiple sports teams and is now focused on overall lifestyle wellness. Ashley loves working with a variety of individuals who want to understand how their bodies move. Ashley wants to help clients create a positive relationship with themselves and drive their limits to see their full potential!

Willona Allemeersch

Willona has been a member of TWP since 2014, which is around the time she really started to have a passion for health and wellness. She graduated with her Human Kinetics Degree in 2015. Willona loves spending time with her family, and has a new love for golf during the summer months. Aside from managing the front desk at TWP, you will also find Willona training clients and instructing group fitness classes!

Willow Hancox

Willow grew up in Squamish BC and moved to Kelowna 2 years ago in hopes to persue her career in Nursing. She fell in love with the energy and atmosphere of the gym and immediatly wanted to join the team! If Willow isn't working she is either eating Tacos or working out! Her favorite things are anything to do with the outdoors, fitness, and of course food!!

Jenna Hay
Front Desk Babe
Jenna grew up playing competitive sports which led to her love for fitness. She started working out at TWP back in 2016 and has always loved the positive and energetic environment that TWP provides. She is currently in her last year of university working towards a bachelor’s degree in bio-psychology. Jenna enjoys working out, skiing, camping and spending time with her friends and family! She loves being a part of such an amazing team and always looks forward to coming into the gym for both work and a sweaty workout session!

Taylor Desrosier

Taylor was a member for 1 year before she joined the TWP team. Aside from work, Tay enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling, and soaking up the sunshine! She is also a student at UBCO where she is studying towards a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She loves being apart of a such an amazing team with so many inspiring women. Although she loves all the group fitness classes TWP offers, her favourites are a sweaty HITT or spin class! You can always find Tay at the front desk sipping coffee and greeting you with a big smile!

Kaitlyn Courtney
Front Desk Babe
Kaitlyn was a member at TWP for 5 years before joining the team. She was constantly inspired by the members and the staff, and she jumped at the chance to work in such an encouraging environment! During the daytime Kaitlyn works as a Legal Assistant and in the evenings you can find her at TWP either at the front desk or hustling in the weight room.

Madison Preston
Front Desk Babe
Madison started coming to TWP because of the personal training they offered. She fell in love with the people and atmosphere. Madison is either doing a group fitness class or is handing out keys at the front desk. The Kolar's and the front desk babes are so amazing I couldn't ask for a better job. She loves all of the programs TWP offers such as HIIT in the vineyard, small group, outdoor bootcamp and empower.

Nadia Mallo

Nadia is currently in school at OC to become a personal fitness trainer & group fitness instructor. She will be certified by April 2023! Nadia has been active her whole life and discovered her passion for weight training & TWP’s gym environment in 2021. Nadia enjoys the outdoors in the summer time, hiking, biking, swimming, surfing and lounging. Nadia also loves to travel & would enjoy talking to anyone about travel tips on places she’s been. She encourages a balanced lifestyle & believes anyone can achieve their goals. Nadia loves being at TWP for all of the encouragement everyone brings & how much it changed her life. You can find Nadia behind the front desk enjoying a chai latte & greeting you upon arrival, or in the weight room.

Laura Evans
Personal Trainer+Group Fitness Instructor
Laura is nearing the completion of her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology at UBCO. She enjoys learning about functional human movement and its application to personal training. Laura considers exercise to not only be a rehab measure, but more importantly a prevention methodology. She is passionate about sustainable wellness, public health, and community support.
Laura has trained as a competitive CrossFit athlete and powerlifter. She enjoys performance based training aimed at achieving a specific goal. She wants to help show women what they are capable of through lifting because she has seen and felt the positive psychological and physical effects first hand. Laura believes that feeling strong is extremely empowering and that everyone should experience it.

Danielle Weninger
Personal Trainer+Group Fitness Instructor
Danielle had never been to the gym before she started working at TWP and couldn't imagine going without now! Danielle was so excited to get the chance to be a part of the team as it is such an uplifting environment and everyone has made her feel like family! Danielle was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader her whole life. She loves to travel, spend time with her family and hangout with her two dobermans!

KyLee Fournier
Personal Trainer+Group Fitness Instructor
KyLee has been teaching at TWP since 2018 and has recently joined the personal training team. She has been a fitness coach for over 8 years and loves to push others (and herself) outside of their comfort zone to be their best & strongest selves. She believes there is a lot of fun to be had in and outside of the gym. When KyLee’s not coaching, you’ll likely still find her at the gym.

Rachel Herzog
Personal Trainer+Group Fitness Instructor
Rachel has been teaching at TWP since 2019, She is certified in Nutrition and Personal Training. She believes in living a healthy, happy lifestyle and that balance is key. Rachel loves teaching women that they are stronger than they think and getting out of your comfort zone is a must! If you don’t see Rachel at the gym teaching classes or training clients you can find her searching for the next best trail to walk with her dogs

Makena Moore
Personal Trainer+Group Fitness Instructor
Makena received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McGill University in early 2021. She became a certified personal trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. Makena also has experience in research surrounding lifestyle and health prevention programs, under the guidance of UBCO’s Diabetes Prevention Research Group.
Makena believes in an “exercise is medicine” approach, wherein exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle changes can be the gateway to holistic wellness. She also wants to help clients realize that every person and every body is different, each requiring an individualized yet adaptive approach to achieve the health and wellness that physical activity and exercise can provide.
She has been a competitive tennis player for over 10 years, and has been weightlifting for 6 years. Makena is a huge advocate for youth athletes and is committed to providing sport-specific training to those who need it. Aside from sport-specific training, she just wants to be your go-to gal for someone who wants to learn how to use the gym, get themselves moving, or train for some strength gains.
Makena is a CSEP certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Makena is also certified as an iFlow instructor.

Dawn Thalheimer
Personal Trainer+Nutrition Coach
As a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, Dawn knows that being healthy isn’t just about what you eat and how much you exercise - it’s a 3 dimensional whole-person, whole-life experience where physical, mental, and emotional factors all play a very real part. Dawn likes to approach fitness and nutrition from a Deep Health perspective, where why you eat, how you eat, who you are, and how you feel are just as important as what you eat. Her sustainable, practice-based coaching method is designed around individual goals and preferences, not pre-packaged, “one-size-fits-all” meal plans or fad diets.
Being a mother of five, Dawn regularly confronts the reality of trying to juggle health and fitness with the demands of home and family. This has led to her passion for “The space between 0 and 10”, where we learn to adjust the dial on our health and fitness and make progress even when life is busy - which is most of the time!

Denise LeBlanc
Personal Trainer+Instructor
Denise has been a certified fitness professional working in the fitness industry for over twenty five years. While raising a busy family of four active boys in Montreal, she learned how to encourage, support and motivate each one to care for and believe in themselves to accomplish their goals. She brings this same passion to her clients and continues to motivate, educate and inspire others to be active and to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Denise enjoys working with baby boomers and beginners tailoring each program to specific needs providing a workout filled with a variety of challenges. Specialty areas include: Group Fitness, Personal Training, Spinning, Pilates, TRX, Bosu, Core Conditioning and Functional Training.

Jamie Straker
Pre and Postnatal Coach
Jamie is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach and owner of JS Fitness.
She has a passion for educating people and motivating them to move their bodies in ways that empower them and help them feel strong throughout pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.
Jamie is a trained elementary school teacher, but after having two children she saw a need for educating women and creating fitness opportunities where women feel safe and strong in their bodies during these special chapters.

Kailee Kristoff

Kailee received her Fitness Theory, Weight Training, and Personal Training certifications in 2011. She is passionate about helping others and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UBC Okanagan in 2012. Her philosophy reflects her education and she believes that exercise is a contributing factor to both physical as well as mental well being. She hopes through her work at TWP she can inspire other women to pursue their goals and find mental and physical health through a healthy, active lifestyle. In her 5 years in the fitness industry Kailee has continued her education and received certifications in Group Fitness, TRX, Barre, Spin and other specializations. She is committed to offering her clients effective programs suited to their abilities and goals.
