About Sharon

Kelowna Personal Trainer: Sharon HarrisonSharon was born and raised in Kelowna, enjoying all that the Okanagan has to offer.  She spent 6 years in Vancouver, where she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts degree (Psychology major).  She spent some time working in the Mental Health field, but decided that she needed a career that would allow her to remain active.  As a self-proclaimed “gym-rat,” careers in the fitness industry called her name.

  • canfitpro Personal Training Specialist, Fitness Instructor Specialist
  • canfitpro PRO TRAINER (PTS, FIS)
  • TRX Suspension Training
  • Resist-A-Ball C.O.R.E. Level 1

Certified as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, Sharon enjoys designing programs for clients and classes of all levels.  She has successfully created safe and effective programs for everyone from the beginner exerciser to the marathon runner or triathlete to the fit, active “weekend warrior.”  

Sharon is currently furthering her education in the health and wellness field, working on the course requirements for Simon Fraser University’s Certificate in Health and Fitness Studies.

Hobbies/Interests: snowboarding, softball, outdoor activities, walking her dogs (2 whippets!)
