At TWP we are proud to host a large and diverse all-inclusive group fitness program in Kelowna. Our class formats are designed to accommodate all fitness levels, goals and interests.
Our dynamic team of certified instructors have the expertise and experience to lead fun, effective and safe classes for all levels of participants. Our group fitness classes are second to none, and included at no extra charge in your monthly membership!
From cardio-based classes, to strength and mind/body classes, the TWP group fitness schedule has something for everyone!
Booking a Group Fitness Class
Book your class a day in advance to reserve your spot! You can book at 7am the day before, regardless of your class time!
Ride classes are a great place for a 45-minute all-terrain ride over hills and flats with simple yet intensive drills for a great cardio workout.
Ride & Push is a combination of cycle drills, then challenging strength-training exercises off the bike.
Push is full body muscular conditioning, no cardio. Flexible strength is the focus of this class utilizing the stability ball, mini bands, resistance bands and free weights. Gain an awareness of proper alignment and exercise technique while improving core strength, posture and stability.
Push & Core is a muscular conditioning, full body strength workout, core focused to get those abdominal muscles engaged and firing!
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) consists of repeated bouts of higher intensity exercises to elevate the heart rate in short bursts of time with short active or passive recovery periods. HIIT is beneficial for increasing the cardiovascular fitness in a shorter amount of time than traditional continuous cardio. HIIT is more all fitness levels, all instructors will always give modifications and everyone is encouraged to challenge themselves and work at their own pace.
Legs, Cardio and Core is an invigorating lower body strength and cardio workout focusing on your core and legs. Get ready to sweat and feel the burn!
Bootcamp uses multiple different types of equipment such as bands, steps, free weights, stability balls, ladders and much more to get you a total body workout that combines both strength and cardio getting that heart rate elevated!
Barre Trend lets you integrate the fat-burning format of interval training with muscle-shaping isometrics to quickly and safely reshape your body. This non-impact workout uses the elongating principles of dance conditioning, and targets all major muscle groups as well as body awareness.
Micro Muscles prepare to feel the burn in this class! Dedicated to your smaller muscle groups by using mini bands, resistance bands, bender balls and free weights this class will fire up your stabilizing muscles. Micro muscles is all about muscle endurance and recruiting different muscle fibres compared to traditional weight lifting.
Flow Yoga is both calming and invigorating, and will leave you feeling energized. The flowing series of postures create harmony, grace and balance in breath, body and the mind.
Yin Yoga allows to you "settle in" to deep poses for 3 to 5 minutes to allow for that amazing stretch we all need at the end of the day. Yin targets the connective tissues, ligaments, and joints of the body.
Stretch and Strength Yoga is a 50/50 blend of Flow and Yin Yoga to give you the best of both worlds! Move to your breath in an all-levels flow for the first half and then relax in passive poses for the remainder of class.
Pilates emphasises the concepts of core strength and stabilization. You will build flexibility and strength in the legs, arm and back.
Active For Life is a strength and conditioning class designed for mature adults with exercise modifications for all fitness levels and ages. This class will focus on building strength with functional exercises that will contribute to being more fit doing activities of daily living.
