Women's Group Fitness Classes

At TWP we are proud to host a large and diverse all-inclusive group fitness program in Kelowna. Our class formats are designed to accommodate all fitness levels, goals and interests.

Our dynamic team of certified instructors has the expertise and experience to lead fun, effective and safe classes for all levels of participants. Our group fitness classes are second to none, and included at no extra charge in your monthly membership!

From cardio-based classes, to strength and mind/body programs, the TWP group fitness program has something for everyone!

Classes denoted by a ☎ on our Group Fitness schedule require a reservation. Please book your class in advance to avoid disappointment (if applicable).  You can book at 7am the day before, regardless of your class time!

    Spin classes are a great place for a 45-minute all-terrain ride over hills and flats with simple yet intensive drills for a terrific cardio workout.

    Cycle & Sculpt is a combination of cycle drills, then challenging strength-training exercises off the bike.

    Cycle & Core combines cycling drills that culminate in a core workout on the mat to finish the class.

    Bike to The Barre gives you the best combination of spinning then a focus on those little muscles with Barre exercises to wrap things up.

    Tabata Cycle gets you in and out with an intensive 30-minute all-terrain spin class with short, sharp drills!

     

     

    Power Yoga has all the benefits of our regular Yoga classes combined with cardio conditioning from continual movement and whole-body strengthening and toning.  Excellent core training and show-casing of advanced poses.

    Flow Yoga is both calming and invigorating, and will leave you feeling energized.  The flowing series of postures create harmony, grace and balance in breath, body and the mind.

    Yin Yoga allows to you "settle in" to deep poses for 3 to 5 minutes to allow for that amazing stretch we all need at the end of the day.  Yin targets the connective tissues, ligaments, and joints of the body.

    Stretch and Strength Yoga is a 50/50 blend of Flow and Yin Yoga to give you the best of both worlds! Move to your breath in an all-levels flow for the first half and then relax in passive poses for the remainder of class.

    Pilates emphasises the concepts of core strength and stabilization.  You will build flexibility and strength in the legs, arm and back.

     

     

    Beginner Step is where you can begin your journey!  Learn the fun choreography basics and go from there.

    Intermediate Step is about building from basic to advanced in terms of intensity and skill level.

    Step 'n' Sculpt has great combination of cardio drills on the step with simple, but challenging strength-training exercises.

     

     

     

    Barre Trend lets you integrate the fat-burning format of interval training with muscle-shaping isometrics to quickly and safely reshape your body. This non-impact workout uses the elongating principles of dance conditioning, and targets all major muscle groups as well as body awareness.

    Carre Barre adds a cardio element to keep you on your toes !

    Bike to the Barre lets you feel the burn of Barre and also get your cardio on with cycle for a challenging full-body workout.



     

    Sculpt is muscular conditioning, no cardio. Flexible strength is the focus of this class utilizing the stability ball, tubing and hand weights. Gain an awareness of proper alignment and exercise technique while improving core strength, posture and balance.

    All about that Base is an invigorating lower body strength and cardio workout focusing on your core and legs. Get ready to sweat and feel the burn!

     

     

    The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.     Bellyfit is the first standardized Belly Dance Fitness System in the world. With hip shakin' Belly Dance cardio, Pilates inspired core work and a fabulous Yoga based stretch and meditation, you'll leave feeling balance, inspired and truly alive!

     

    Boomers and Beyond is an innovative Boomers program/bootcamp that targets the needs of mature adults.  

    Functional Fitness allows you to enjoy a gentle approach to 50+ fitness promoting aerobic conditioning, balance training and functional strength relevant to active living.

     

    Legs, Cardio and Core is an invigorating lower body strength and cardio workout focusing on your core and legs. Get ready to sweat and feel the burn!

    HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is a challenging muscular strength and endurance workout for the entire body using hand weights, tubes, and easy to follow cardio drills. A great combination of strength and cardio.

    Time to Burn gives you a fantastic bootcamp-style class where anything goes: cardio, strength, endurance - you name it, it's here.

    TRX allows you to leverage gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise – because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.

    POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Strengthen and sculpt infrequently-used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique.

    Bosu Full Body Balance is an energetic, core-blasting workout that will tone your whole body using the bosu’s!
